Assistant General Manager | Job Description
Department Management Reports To General Manager
Location Flint, MI FLSA Status Salaried, Exempt, Full-time

Summary:
The Assistant General Manager (AGM) will report directly to the GM. When necessary, the Assistant General Manager will act in place of the General Manager. The Assistant General Manager will work with the General Manager to supervise and/or coordinate all aspects of the business to assure high-quality delivery of services to patients, consistent and compliant with all legal requirements.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
● Supervising provisioning center staff and providing administrative support;
● Overseeing provisioning center patient intake;
● Working with the General Manager to review and manage workload and staffing;
● Monitoring patient information to review and examine service and compliance with regulations;
● Supervising employees to ensure performance outcomes and goals are achieved;
● Working with the General Manager to recruit and train additional staff and to provide opportunities for continued staff development;
● Facilitating team building and reinforce collaborative communication among staff; and
● Interacting with colleagues and subordinates to advance organizational mission and performance.
● Supporting the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired organizational behaviors;
● Demonstrating professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and a positive demeanor in the performance of all duties;

● Patient Care Specialists
● Receptionists

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
● Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university highly desired
● High school graduation required
● Previous work history in the medical marihuana industry highly recommended

Physical Requirements
● Long periods of prolonged sitting and standing
● Must be able to lift and carry at least 30 lbs

Work Environment
● Similar to a busy office
● Varied hours and/or days, including nights, days, holidays, or weekends
